2. In short: the app runs locally
The Runnin app (mobile and web) runs entirely on your device:
- it requires no account or login,
- values entered into calculators are not collected, sent or stored on our servers,
- all calculations (pace, heart rate zones, VO₂max etc.) run locally,
- it contains no ads.
Values you enter into calculators (e.g. heart rate or times) never leave your device.
3. Data stored locally
The app stores only your settings on your device: language, units, theme, accent color and background visibility. This data is never sent to us; remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing site data. Browser storage details are described in the separate Cookies policy.
4. The runnin.app website and third parties
- Hosting (GitHub Pages) - the website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). GitHub may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security purposes. Details: GitHub privacy statement.
- Google Fonts - the website loads fonts from Google servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google. Details: Google privacy policy.
- Google Analytics / Google tag - the website uses Google tag (ID G-K29TFP8B55) for basic visit and usage measurement. Google may process data such as IP address, device data and browser identifiers. Details: Google privacy policy.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
Since we process no personal data on servers, most GDPR rights are satisfied automatically. Regardless, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data, and lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO). For data matters write to: contact@runnin.app. If you email us, we process your address solely to reply (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The current version is always available at runnin.app/privacy-en.html with its effective date.
